The Watch List consists of issues that have been brought to my attention by ordinary citizens just like you. I have worked on behalf of that particular citizen(s) or situation to ensure progress is being made. I am the ONLY candidate working on behalf of the citizens even before the election.
Safety issue in Kroger - Kedron Village
I personally identified a safety issue in Kroger on Peachtree Parkway. I made the GM, Philip Thorn aware. Philip was very engaging and showed concern regarding this issue. He agreed to continue an open dialogue with me to keep me apprised of the situation until it is resolved.
UPDATE 6/11/21 - Store Mgt is working with Corporate to determine the best approach to resolve the issue.
UPDATE 6/22/21 - Mgt has determined an approach and is actively resolving the issue.
UPDATE 7/13/21 - Mgt is seeing improvement and reports are trending in the right direction.
Arrest of a minor
Parents of a minor that was arrested had concerns about the minor receiving due process.
UPDATE 7/6 - I reached out to a sitting City Council member and made him aware.
Update 7/7 The Councilperson met with city officials to review the situation and to ensure the minor's due process rights were not encroached upon. It was determined the situation was handled appropriately. The Councilperson responded directly to the concerned parents.
